Central York High School

Coming Together…

Results are what you make of them. The Polar Bears lost to Central York last night at Bostic stadium 22-7. In reality, it hurts in the standings. In reality, wins are tough to come by when you begin to string together losses. But, in reality, our boys began to come together in what are the very early stages of this football season.

Certainly there are question marks. But this is a team with a lot of experience and a lot of character and they will work out the answers to those questions. Defensively, the Bears were significantly better than they were a week ago. Let's not forget that Central York is a very, very good football team. Last week they soundly defeated a Susquehanna Township team who had their way with East Penn this week. There is talent on this Northern team and they WILL completely bring it together.

Football is a game; one that we in Dillsburg are passionate about. But, in the end, it is a game. Our thoughts and prayers this week are on our extended family. Know that the Northern Polar Bear Families are with you, are thinking about you, and are praying for the best.

Next Week vs. Mechanicsburg in Mechanicsburg. Kickoff is at 7:30 P.M.
