Scrimmage
Versus
Exactly one week
before they put on their game uniforms, the Bears teed it up against
The Bears had flashes
of brilliance and showed what has become their trademark, big-play
ability. Like any scrimmage, however,
there were also times when all the "I's" and "T's" weren't
quite dotted. The coaching staff and
team leadership will dot those I's this week in practice in preparation for the
season opener next week against Bermudian Springs. Many boys stepped up last night; particularly
some underclassmen to present Coach Mauck and his staff a pleasant dilemma…where
to put them all.
One of the
characteristics of the 2005 Northern Polar Bears, aside from the tremendous
leadership of the Junior and Senior classes, is depth. There is quite a bit of it and it certainly
showed last night. This will be a season
to remember!
